Welcome to My Ki! This Privacy Policy explains how My Ki ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

We believe in collecting only the information necessary to provide you with a great experience. When you use My Ki, we collect the following:

When you sign up for an account, we use Apple ID for authentication. This means we receive basic account information from Apple necessary to create and manage your My Ki account. We do not collect your Apple ID password.

We track your in-app activity related to meditation exercises. This includes:
- The number of times you have completed specific meditation exercises.
- Progress tracking within exercises (e.g., if an exercise has multiple steps, we might track which steps you've completed).

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Your Apple ID information allows us to create and manage your user account, enabling you to access the App's features and save your progress.

Tracking your exercise completion helps us understand your engagement with the App and may allow us to offer you more relevant content in the future.

Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us understand how users interact with the App, allowing us to identify areas for improvement and develop new features.

We use the usage data to show you how many times you've accomplished specific meditation exercises, helping you stay motivated.

3. Do We Share Your Information?

No. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We are committed to protecting the security of your information. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will endeavor to delete your personal information, though some residual data may remain in our backup systems for a limited period due to technical and operational requirements.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Your account is primarily managed through your Apple ID. If you wish to manage or delete your Apple ID, please refer to Apple's privacy policies and settings.

The usage data we collect is directly tied to your in-app activity and is used for the purposes described above. There isn't a separate opt-out for this basic functionality as it's integral to the app's core features.

To the extent required by applicable law, you may have the right to access and correct certain personal information we hold about you. Please contact us using the information below if you wish to exercise these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

My Ki is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
